![]() The last time I played, I used a mod that reduced the level cap back to 30, lowered the skill points per level and made it like the original Fallout where you only got a perk every 3rd level. Broken Steel ups the level cap to 50, and unless you play a low INT character, you can max everything before 50, which can lead to a bug of being stuck in the level up screen because you can't close it until you spend all of your skill points. It's possible to max everything if you go by a guide and collect all the skill books and bobble-heads. Even Vanilla FO3's (no DLC) level cap of 30 you can almost max out all skills without trying. You don't need a mod to change the level cap, it can be done with a console command. If you don't know what that is, it lets you import Fallout 3 into the updated Fallout NV engine and use it's features and mods. ![]() Last but not least, here you will find out which are the best. If you have Fallout NV and all its DLC, you might as well get Fallout 3 GOTY and use Tale of Two Wastelands. Commonwealth Visual Overhaul & DLC - Sargeschultz 3. Out of all the Fallout DLC, The Pitt was my favorite. I too liked Fallout NV better as a game, but liked the setting of Fallout 3. Broken Steel just continues after the end of the main Fallout 3 quest, it doesn't change the ending. ![]() ![]() Operation Anchorage wasn't great, but it's not long and worth at least one play through. ![]()
